Irishtown House Featured in Irish Independent

Irishtown House was featured on The Independent Weekend Travel by Nicola Brady in an article titled “25 creative staycations: Beat the crowds (and high prices) with these innovative home-holiday ideas” on 27th February 2021

“This beautiful stable conversion opened last year, and looks like it’s straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie. Filled with light and gorgeous little fixtures, this is a place where you can forget all about the piles of laundrey and broken doorknobs at home. While they don’t accommodate children under 12, it’s proved a popular spot for families with teenagers, who head out on the Royal Canal Greenway or Derrymore Springs nearby.”

Exceptional ☺ One of the most beautiful accommodations I have ever stayed in. My husband and I took a short break to the Stables at Irishtown House in early July 2020. The stables has stunning decor throughout, finished to the highest standard. It is nestled in the quiet countryside of Mullingar where there are lovely walks and gorgeous pubs. Dora and Liam were so welcoming. Dora has thought of every little detail for her guests from the well stocked fridge to the gorgeous room fragrance and her too good to be true home bakes. First class through and through.
